Original Etching - Budgies I

Two little budgies that I met at my friend Tanya's house. 

Tanya rescues birds and has a wonderful big aviary (that I once accidentally got locked into, but that's another story) full of beautiful birds who have been given a second chance. 

This original print is a three plate drypoint etching. I also have a fainter edition of this image as after I pulled this print I then took a 'ghost print' from the plate. A ghost print is when a second print is taken from the plate without it being inked up again. I don't normally make ghost prints as they are normally too faint, but this piece is so brightly coloured that a ghost print was achievable.
